Now, back to the male bronzed cowbird. It’s blackish overall with bronze iridescence on back and rump. It can display its neck feathers in an upright position like a ruff ; has black bill and legs with red eyes in breeding season, brownish orange in non-breeding season. 7 replies ». Last Friday, we drove to Fredericksburg to meet up with fellow. Members and had an early dinner at. I had a tasty pork stew made with their Enchanted Rock red ale and served over seasoned mashed potatoes. After dinner, we carpooled and headed out to the Eckert James River Bat Cave in Mason and arrived at around seven in the evening. There was still enough light to view the millions of Mexican free-tailed bats when they came out to feed around quarter to eight in the evening. Waiting for the bats to emerge.

We've had struggles that involved working on different countries and states but the more time we spent apart made our bond stronger and more appreciative of the time we're together. Tuesday, February 1, 2011. Rare Snowfall in West Texas. I grew up in a tropical country, but snow's not new to me. I've had my first taste of snowflake when I visited my friends in New York two years ago. My whole experience with snow was exciting and wonderful but I wouldn't trade it for my sun and fair weather (mostly) in the bay area. That's also why I sought the heat of Texas when I was offered a job here. Imagine my surprise when they said it snows in West Texas. What? But it's near the desert?

Sunday, March 3, 2013. We took the shuttle at Berger stadium and the line was long. Though we waited for an hour for our turn, we didn't give up since we were really looking forward to go there. One of our motivation was thinking about the delicious lunch that we're going to have when we got there. But I do remember that we didn't wait long for the bus last year because we were there earlier then. :). It's finally our turn to board! The ride was fast since we had an expert driver.
