Sholing Philippines Project 2014. In February 2014, students and staff from The Sholing Technology College in Southampton travelled to Manila to make a difference to the lives of some of the world’s poorest people. They worked with Hedge End based charity the Philippine Community Fund (PCF) which runs a school on the edge of Manila’s infamous Smokey Mountain dumpsite that educates the children who live and work on and around the dump.
