Winning is about struggle and effort and optimism, and never, ever, ever giving up. Not anymore. My only goals are to take in this once-in-a-lifetime experience, stay positive and cross the finish line with my own two legs. Next up on my list, run a half-marathon with my boyfriend (his 1st! Sunday, June 27, 2010. It all started back in October, the Santa Speedo Run. Team was in full effect and I decided to lose some weight. Having to wear a speedo will do that to a man.
