still water: May it end
http://akhila-krishnan.blogspot.com/2009/05/may-it-end.html
Those who dream by day are far more cognizant of things than those who just dream by night. Tuesday, May 12, 2009. This is a sketch I had done last year, as I spent the summer here in Ahmedabad. It is very hot. Of late, I have been getting up very early and then running indoors to my office where I hide away all day.We all turn to each other and murmur 'climate change', then flip on the switches of AC's and coolers, and keep them running all day. But how can we not? Posted by still water. Any reproductio...

Those who dream by day are far more cognizant of things than those who just dream by night. Thursday, February 26, 2009. What to say, I guess time really did squeeze and congeal for me back there a bit. I really cannot believe it has been so long. There is a lot of news and much to share, but most importantly I am happy to tell you that my first book as an illustrator is now done and is in the stores for sale! It is called "Monkey tales" by Rohinton Mody. Go out and get a copy! Posted by still water.

Those who dream by day are far more cognizant of things than those who just dream by night. Wednesday, June 25, 2008. Are some of us eternal travelers? Forever in transit,. Hoping to reach an unknown destination? Or are we all ceaselessly moving,. Even as we think we are content to stand still? Content as we stand still. As we grow older, in one of the rare instances. Of circumstance reflecting reality,. Family gives way to the self,. And we find ourselves making journeys in the silence of solitude.

flotsamnweeds: Fly On The Wall
http://flotsamnweeds.blogspot.com/2008/04/fly-on-wall.html
I stir the leaky colours from a rainbow into my cup of nice, strong bitter sweet coffee and the day's begun all shiny and new. Friday, April 11, 2008. Fly On The Wall. This is an illustration for a friend's blog, this is to be the masthead. Param writes just about everything under the sun, places, people, travel with the focus being on design and design research. You can find his blog here. And then I changed the beer to some good old filter kaapi. As Param pointed out that he doesn't drink beer at all!

Those who dream by day are far more cognizant of things than those who just dream by night. Wednesday, June 25, 2008. A city in a desert: Part 1. International airports in India are difficult to see. It is not that the government is torturing passengers (well not intentionally anyway), but it is the kind of people you see there that makes you stop and look, and wonder. And look back at yourself. And as I sat, watching these very people, I wished that money, that borders did not exist, at least for a few ...
