Noticed I hadn't updated in a while thanks to. The trip to Queensland over Easter was great. The weather was crap and some of the roads were scary as hell when combined with heavy rain and my lack of familiarity with them, but I feel like I learned more about my limits and my riding. It was a nice ride and I'm glad I did it. My ninja kept up with my dad's R1200GS. I'm really happy with that, not bad for a little roadbike. Eventually I hope to post some pictures from this. I'm managing it a lot better now...

EYE IS TWITCHING FROM TIRED. Internet is on in the apartment, so I'll be in there shortly. Project release got pushed back to the 1st of February. This is excellent, as it means I'll be able to take at least a full week off while. Is here. It also means I might get to scale back on the overtime. Currently I have enough time-off-in-lieu built up to cover that week and then some.). Post a new comment. We will log you in after post. We will log you in after post. We will log you in after post.

Is here and that makes me very, very happy. All mine until the end of November. 3. I got a new rear tire for my bike - about 15000km on the previous one. Not bad when I've had it less than a year? It's so pretty 3. To Animania over the weekend of the 5th-6th. We had a table to run, so I sat her at the corner of it and made her draw pictures to sell. I'm such a slavedriver. I hope she can visit again before. Has to go back to that frozen wasteland she calls a home country. We're pretty close (he got me th...

The last month has gone entirely too fast. (I'd probably say that regardless of the length of time, because there's still a goodbye at the end of it.). I don't think I can adequately describe how happy it made me to see. Again And to see her with my friends, and playing with my niece and nephews. Part of my family. It's nice knowing how seamlessly we transition into living together again. Not like I needed the reassurance, but it just helps make it clear that this is everything I want and need.

For those of you who didn't already know: I had a motorcycle accident on Wednesday afternoon on my way home from work. I'm doing okay and am healing up at home, but thought I'd put down the full story for my memory's sake and the curious types. I had passed the speed camera and was doing 60, preparing to brake for the Church St intersection. I was in the centre-most lane so I was the most visible to cars coming out of side-streets - if I'm in the kerb lane, they tend to not see my headlight through the t...

Bit of an update on things. Work is going okay. The number of defects cracked 1000, but they're finally under control and nearly finished. Supposedly we're going into production at the end of March, but there's talk of yet another delay, so. I have no idea. On the one hand, I'm starting to get a little sick of defect fixing. On the other, I'm worried about what happens when we're on support and something breaks. I'm hoping we're finally at the point where that won't happen. The crappy exchange rate is ma...

Bit of an update on things. Arrived, and suddenly things got a lot better. She has been such a fantastic support to me, and endlessly patient with my moodswings, my frustration and my tears. I often try to thank her, and she just rolls her eyes at me and says, In sickness and in health, right? I am lucky, so very lucky. Two weeks after the accident I got x-rays to take to my orthopaedic surgeon. Left - view from the front. Right - view from the side, but reversed because I'm a dork. We had a scare about ...

Left for Canada today. I think it gets harder every time, but at least we know this wait won't be a long one if the plan goes okay. Pretty much all of her stuff is still here so it's all ready for next time. It gives me this weird impression that she's only stepped out for a moment and she'll walk back in any time now. It's comforting but it makes my heart ache too. My mum called me this afternoon to ask how I was taking it. It was a bit funny and a bit sweet and I'm really glad they get along so well.

Week one is finished! Went alright I think. Found out I HAVE to be - Kellees Saga. Travelogue of adventures in Norway. 05 July 2009 @ 07:15 pm. Week one is finished! Friday night there was a party the school put on in the campus pub, there was a fun Balkan band playing called Rakija,. Sooo I took an unholy amount of pictures. There are 110 here, so uhm, yes. And in no super coherent order, because I fail at photojournalism. Star Wars toys next to. The most homoerotic action figures ever. My first thought...
