Tuesday, June 28, 2005. I congradulated her and hung up. My first instinct was to cry, but I was at work on my lunch break. Bernadine was having lunch with me, and we didn't really talk very much after that call. She new I was upset. She probably felt bad for me. I had a job interview this morning at the Delta Hotel. Monday, February 20, 2006. Alright, my hours have been cut at work. I only get 25 a week, this week I get 26.5 oohhhhh so much. Blah. My manager is going on maternity leave in June, she is currently training an assistant manager. It is mandatory that the manager and the assistant manager have 40 hours each and that's where my hours are going, to the assistant manager! Friday, July 29, 2005. Now the present that I was talking about in yesterdays post was.A medical terminology book! How exciting is that? I was amazed. It's deffinately something that I wouldn't have guessed. This is something that I desperately need. I was so surprised and happy and so thankful for it. Monday, May 30, 2005. Well Sheldon is home in Port de Grave tonight, helping his parents with the last bit of packing and moving. He told me that he has to get up at 6:00 tomorrow morning and help move stuff down to the living room so that it will be easier to bring out to the moving truck. Sunday, October 31, 2004. Happy Spooky Day everyone! This has been such a busy weekend. Yesterday (Saturday) I went to St. John's to do some shopping.and shop I did! I bought so much stuff. Thursday, June 30, 2005. Last night was so much fun. I can honestly say that it was the best birhday I've had in a looong time. P came here to get ready and when we came out of my room to leave, Paul looked at her and said, "you look like a man in that tie". She took it as a compliment, god love her! Tuesday, March 21, 2006. Chris got his letter today! He wrote his test way back in June, almost a year ago, and had pretty much given up hope that he'd hear from the RCMP, but the letter came today! He has to get all his things in order and then he'll be off to Regina. It seems so unreal. He is so excited about it. We're all so excited about it! I think that's it for now. Sunday, March 27, 2005. It's so lovely outside today. Sunny and crisp and spring-ish. Most of the snow has melted away and I can actually see grass again! I'm loving this weather. The other day, every time I went outside I felt like a kid again. It was one of those days that made me think of being younger and playing outside until after supper because it was still light out. Mom would call us to come in and get a bath and we'd say "Just a few more minutes Mom. It's not dark yet! I actually get up by 10!
