Educating Rita (Act 1 scene 1). Monday, 20 August 2007. Educating Rita (Act 1 scene 1). I think that Rita wants to study because she is eager to learn since she considers that study will enable her to see things from otherpoint of view, more deeply. For example, she says that she doesn´t want to see ballet or the opera and think that it is rubbish but she wants to watch it and understand it. I think that she is an intelligent woman since she knows what she wants (to succed in life).

Something very important to name in this chapter is the fact that we should take into consideration others’ point of view when we want to understand their acting. To me that sometimes turns difficult to do because we consider that the way we think is right, and that there is no another one. Personally I try to do that in order to understand some things but it doesn’t mean that I will do them completely.
