Joy in the journey. Wednesday, July 6, 2011. So, has anyone had any success with making homemade deoderant sans baking soda? I did try making deoderant last winter - aluminum-free baking soda, coconut oil and a couple drops of lavender oil. It worked, but after a few days of application, the baking soda was irritating my skin - and honestly, who wants irritated skin there? About homemade deoderant, but it seems very similar to my recipe. Perhaps I'll try less baking soda next time. Hope you like it!

The primary focus of this site is for the display anf sales of my photographs. I specialize in medium and large format black and white photographs. Most of my work is in landscape, architecture and still life subjects. Future work will involve studio portraiture. In the future, I plan to incorporate the alternative chemistry form of print processing. This will include silver/palladum, gum oil and hand-tinting. Other activities include jewel frabrication: silver cutting and lostwax.
