Chicago – here we come. Wednesday 20 August, 2008 by Emily. TJ and I are flying to Chicago tomorrow morning for a quick weekend trip to the windy city! This is probably my last vacation for awhile, since dental school starts on August 25th! We are planning on eating lots of good Chicago food, especially deep-dish pizza, walking all over downtown Chicago, see lots of unique architecture and major landmarks (two that I am excited to see are the Hull House and Wrigley Field). The weather has been a little unpredictable and to ensure a feeling of spring, I added some flowers and green around the house. I had some pictures to take and naturally had a little helper. Tuesday, April 9, 2013. Happy spring Solstice. Every solstice and equinox we celebrate with friends. We sing and eat and the children craft. This time it was a small group, but no less special and meaningful. I am glad we can share this with not only our children, but our friends children as well. A little tired today, these two are happy to have a quiet afternoon. I just got a new phone and I wanted to take a special picture of the two with me to Germany. I think this one was exactly what I needed!

Espadrilles geven je toch het ultieme zomergevoel? Mij wel altijd hoor! Helemaal met deze die er zelfs van de binnenkant mooi uit zien met de gevlochten zool. Ik vind espadrilles altijd ideale schoentjes, je stapt er makkelijk in en uit en lopen vaak prima. Deze van La Strada. Zijn ook nog eens van goede, stevige kwaliteit.
