It all started last year when Shane thought he might want a turkey fryer (for frying turkey) and I thought I might want a turkey fryer (to can with because we have a ceramic cooktop that is BAD for canning). So we bought a fryer, invited a bunch of friends over, and fried a turkey! It was such a hit (and I still hadn't used the fryer for canning a single thing) so we had another one! Date day usually involves lunch, apple and pumpkin picking, sneaking kisses in the beautiful canopy of fall colors and generally just being outside in the cool, crispy air.
