1st leg – Manchester – Dubai – Bangkok – Laos. April 28, 2014. June 28, 2014. Left Manchester on the 13.55 Emirates flight to Dubai with a 3 hour stopover before a 6 hour flight to Bangkok. Usually enjoy flying, but with a serious case of man flu the trip was a bit of a nightmare with zero sleep on all legs of the journey. 4th Leg – Dubai. January 1, 2015. My first chance to leave Dubai airport and actually check the city out for a few days (in-between working hard of course.) You know Dubai is going to be ostentatious and over the top but it’s on a scale I hadn’t even imagined, you can just smell the money. Definitely top of my list of destinations to travel to for pleasure. 3rd Leg – Dhaka. Last Buy – Trickers Lollipop Red Cavalier Derby Brogues →. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Last Buy – Trickers Lollipop Red Cavalier Derby Brogues. February 22, 2015. You may have noticed I have a thing for shoes. Whilst my collection of trainers, or sneakers depending on where you are in the world, which once ran to 100’s of pairs (and is still vast) diminishes with every passing year (I’m getting old) my collection of formal shoes grows to fill the void. I thought an addiction to rare trainers was costly, ain’t nothing next to high end footwear. 4th Leg – Dubai. January 1, 2015. After the lu...

Last Buy – New Balance 996 Spring Bright Pack. February 15, 2014. I’ve been after a pair of purple NB 996’s since pics were first released back in late 2012, but struggled to find a pair in my size until finding a pair in Hong Kong. Paid a little more that I’d have liked, but that’s HK for you. Travel – Budapest. Last Buy – Nike Flyknit Racer Multi →. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here. 3rd Leg – Dhaka. September 6, 2014. September 6, 2014. After the luxury of Hong Kong it’s always a culture shock arriving in Dhaka. Bangladesh is the world’s eighth most populous country, with over 160 million inhabitants and Dhaka city ranked no 9 in terms of population density with 12 million residents. It’s also a desperately poor country, with 26% of the population living below the national poverty line of US $2.00 per day. 2nd Leg – Hong Kong. 4th Leg – Dubai →. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. 2nd Leg – Hong Kong. April 30, 2014. July 5, 2014. Flying into Hong Kong never gets old for me, especially arriving upstairs on a 747 old school style. love this plane and would rather fly on one of these than a modern aircraft any time, for me it epitomises the excitement and glamour of international travel like no other plane can. When I was a kid I always dreamed of one day sitting upstairs on a 747, some dreams do come true I guess. 1st leg – Manchester – Dubai – Bangkok – Laos. 4th Leg – Dubai.
