Adopted by motion duly made and passed by a majority vote of the Board of Fire Commissioners at a regular meeting held on the 7th day of August, 2014. In the first half of the 20th century, this community near the upper end of the Skykomish River valley was a booming, brawling, railroad and logging town, remote but filled with activity and jobs.
