PRINCETON, WV - A 50-year-old Mercer County man is facing up to five years in prison after being convicted of felony animal cruelty in the dragging death of his dog. A jury convicted Daniel W. Dobos on Tuesday. He was accused of killing his mixed-breed dog by tying it to the back of his pickup truck with a chain in February 2008 [sic] and dragging it. She also noted signs of strangulation.
