About the same number of people were speaking up for and against the inclusion of the idols into the space. For two years now our local bellydance community has hosted central VA's largest bellydance event. We've maxed out the theatre's capacity and had to turn folks away at the door. It is dark; you are likely to be eaten by a grue. Mary laid her on my belly and all of a sudden it all became very very real.what all that growing and kicking and pain and pushing had been for. I was shocked that I had just given birth to a baby,a living person. Chris was all teary and we just sort of stared at her and each other for a while. There was all sorts of uncomfortableness surrounding the business of finishing off the birth (placenta and stitches, and lots of external pushing on my abdomen).
