June 18, 2011. Luckily, we had ear protections. The air actually blew down the poles. It was very very powerful. NYUAD students also went to Linda’s place, which was very close to where the World Trade Center was, for dinner last night. As we toured along the place, Linda and her husband also told us their personal experience when the plane crashed the building. It was a bit scary and a big hit to NYC. June 13, 2011. First time in NYC. View from the room. I have not been to the facilities floor yet nor the dining hall. Even though meal plans are provided, I have to walk around 10 minutes to another street to have breakfast. Things are not as convenient as they used to be in Sama Tower. June 22, 2011. Second week at NYC. Nothing much happened recently, except for a trip to Manhattan’s China Town and I got to taste the hand-pulled noodles. It was quite delicious except that it was a bit oily and the soup was a bit salty. Overall, I’ll give it a 4/5. Hand-pulled noodles at China Town. On the bridge at China town. Brazilian concert at Central Park. Up to food hunting again during the weekends. Seems like NYC has really good Takoyaki. =D. Posted in Summer 2011 at NYC. Laquo; Aero Experiment.

January 4, 2012. J-term 2012 – Florence. I didn’t get to try it because of the rush. And yeah, because of the delay, I missed my flight to Florence. Fortunately, Air France was responsible enough to re-assign me to the next flight and I arrived safely at Florence.🙂. Wonder what am I doing here? Yup, my whole trip is sponsored by N.Y.U.A.D!
