I waited as long as I could stand, and then we went in and tied off the cord and checked the sex. And…. IT’S A GIRL! That’s what I had been hoping for. Yay! And tagged Baby animals.

Springtime is for tractors. And now we have one of our own! Last year we borrowed a tractor from a friend. It was a Ford 900. Series tractor. Goats’ 1st milking | smallfarmlife

https://smallfarmlife.wordpress.com/2013/03/04/goats-1st-milking

Goats’ 1st milking. We milked our little mommas last night for the first time. It went really well. You may remember. That we had to milk Duchess after her baby (I think we will call her Lilly) because she was a little freaked out about being a mother. We milked her first. I am very happy with my little milkers. We used...

Musings and Insights from a Humanistic Animal Caretaker. November 26, 2012. For the most part we buffer ourselves from direct experience with a conceptual layer that creates both a sense of identity and a degree of predictability and control. But this buffer also dampens the quality of experience and we end up carrying around this sense that things are dull and lifeless. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here. According to a reputable source (which also happens to be my favorite doomsday website – not telling, of course – do I want to lose all credibility? The 21st of December, 2012 commenced this morning at around 5:00 am or so, CST. This particular date and time marks the end of the Mayan calendar and as some have prophesized, the end of the world… or at the very least, the end of the world. As we know it. And the day before.
