Bloggin' from the Bayou. Wednesday, December 28, 2011. Well the Broadbent's have been on quite the blog hiatus. But it is the holiday season so Brandy has called in a backup blogger for this post. Our "holiday" season started with a Half Marathon for Brandy and a Marathon for Me. The Broadbents traveled to Jacksonville meet up with Grammy and Gramps and Stuart and Kristy. Grammy, Gramps and Mikayla cheered on Brandy and me during the race. Cookies after about 30 seconds, so Brandy and I finished baking a...

The Life and Times of Poose and Hawk. We'd like to welcome you to our online diary. You all can keep an eye on us as we grow, change, fight, and drive our parents crazy. Welcome! Sunday, October 31, 2010. How long is Halloween? Some may say one night-a couple hours at the most. You see, you have to start at a pumpkin patch on a school field trip. And not ANY patch, but one that has all the Disney movies and many fairy tales playing out right in the front. Shaw Farm. Go there. Amazing. And I'm a penguin.

Thursday, December 31, 2009. So, Christmastime time is pretty cool and I had a great time learning all about it this year. I learned that Santa is some guy that says, "Ho, Ho, Ho" and that he frightens me to death. My parents took me to see him and I didn't want any of that. To start this season off, I helped Mom and Dad pick out a tree this year. Here Dad and I are going back to tell the people that we have picked a tree. Aren't we cute? I drove Mom and Dad nuts! Unwrapping gifts with my cousins. I had ...

Monday, August 10, 2009. So I have officially started really walking in the past few days and my video taped it. I started taking small steps a few weeks ago but I am feeling more confident now and have really started to take off. If I have a wall to hold on to, I can go really fast. Otherwise, I am more tenative and slow, to be expected. Aunt Lynn bought me this walker for my birthday and I have started having more fun with it now that I can walk. I discovered that playing in boxes is fun! My parents to...

Sunday, November 1, 2009. I had a fun Halloween this year. Here I am in my pumpkin shirt. I wore this all day to get ready for trick-o-treating. My mom put me in this silly bumblebee outfit. I wasn't too excited about it at first. Then she tried to put this hat on my with silly antennae.I drew the line. I got used to it and actually starting running around the house! Here I am on the front porch at Granny and Papa's house ready to get to it. I was on the move. On the move to the next house.

Bloggin' from the Bayou. Saturday, October 24, 2009. We've decided to join the millions of parents who celebrate holidays with their children well before the little ones have any awareness of the reason for celebration! We were encouraged to celebrate by the multiple Halloween outfits from Aunt Annie. Hubby picked up a pumpkin carving kit and we decided to give the patterns a try. We weren't sure if it would be disastrous of phenomenal. Our three jack-o-lanterns and our little pumpkin! PS - Contrary to w...
