So here I am, with a bit of extra time on my hands, which is kind of scary - it's like Project Runway, the one guy who finishes early and is sitting around eating bon bons always ends up getting his ass handed to him on a plate. I don't want to be. But, truth be told, I think I've got what I need. And I'm not leaving civilization am I? Delaying the...

Travels Abroad: July 2009

Friday, July 31, 2009. We arrived in Salzburg at around 2pm and started walking around the city to get our bearings. We popped into an Irish pub that Emily was fond of, and ended up getting a drink and meeting a couple of legitimate Irish kids. We had a good time talking to them and hanging out for a while until they had to catch the bus back to the nearby town they were staying at. Now we are just hanging at the hostel, feeling tired but ready for a full day of Austria delights! Wednesday, July 29, 2009.

Wednesday, September 2, 2009. So now that I've had time to reaclimate and upload my photos on the computer, I thought you might like to see some of the places I've been writing about. So lets start with Salzburg. While we were sitting in one of the Baroque churches, Emily joked to me that it was so pink and full of swirls, that it was funny that a man would have designed it. That made me laugh. But she was right, you know? Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile. Travel Books I Love.

Sunday, May 31, 2009. This weekend I took an unexpected trip to Yosemite.more on that soon. Tuesday, May 19, 2009. The trip officially starts for us when I separate from my parents in Prague. From there I have considered a route that looks something like this:. A couple of nights in Prague (I don’t think Emily has ever been there, so it seems fair to stay extra in a city that, from all accounts is a pretty cool one). Munich à day trip to Neuschwanstein Castle. Monday, May 18, 2009. A travel guide series ...

Travels Abroad: Morocco
http://katiestravelsabroad.blogspot.com/2010/09/morocco.html
Wednesday, September 22, 2010. Now that we're barreling towards October, it's easy to say that it's about time for summer vacation. In fact, there may be a generall consensus amongst various Rose family members that the best iem for summer vacation is, in fact, during the summer. I mean, they don't call them the dog days of summer for nothing. But I digress. Morocco is the main destination this time 'round and while I can't say that it was at the top of my list (though certainly. Lots of colorful fabrics.

Friday, June 18, 2010. This poem was in the first few pages of a novel by Paulo Coelho called The Zahir. Full of adventure, full of knowledge. The Lestrygonians and the Cyclops,. The angry Poseidon—do not fear them:. You will never find such as these on your path.
