Schruns Bahnhof is 20 minutes from Bludenz (which is as little as 2 hours on the fast trains to Zürich or Innsbruck). The Hochjochbahn valley station is only a couple of hundred metres from the station, and there is also a comprehensive range of ski buses connecting all of the valley stations throughout the Montafon area with Schruns. Very near the German border, Seefeld with its car-free streets is very family-friendly and has good facilities for beginners, intermediates and cross-country skiers. Lying in the lee of the Zugspitze, the snow record is excellent.
