Rock and roll baking 2009. This was a work of art, endurance and birthday love. Unbelievably, this tasty creation was formed from round cakes by my beloved Jeffrey, who vowed to never repeat her efforts due to the difficulty involved. From another friend I received gourmet dried black spaghetti as part of a yummy food birthday hamper, and we added the strands after this photo was taken to form some less-than-functional strings. Cooking eggs in Japan. So it’s not rocket science, it’s not even make a bicarbonate of soda volcano science. However, it is simple genius, and who doesn’t get excited about new ways to cook eggs? So I learnt this in Japan, from my favourite Malaysian, and would make it for breakfast after a night of waiting tables in a nepalese yurt, and before hitting the powdery slopes on my nice Tokyoan snowboard.
