5chw4r7z:: the ethos of downtown Cincinnati
http://5chw4r7z.blogspot.com/2015/08/trevarren-flats-construction-tour.html
Trevarren Flats construction tour. Construction has progressed far enough for Walnut Hills to show the progress on their $10 million dollar mixed-use development. They're pretty excited about Trevarren Flats located on E McMillan a block off of Gilbert. Trevarren Flats sits across the street from a Kroger, straddles the evolving St. James pocket park and is a short walk to Fireside Pizza, and staggering distance from the Five Alley Beer Popup. Cincinnati Revisited: June 2011
http://acincinnatihistory.blogspot.com/2011_06_01_archive.html
Saturday, June 11, 2011. Back on the Train. Scenic Railway, Coney Island [1908]. Here again, folks. It's been one heck of a long, quiet ride over placid lakes of workaday redundancy since my last visit here almost a year and a half ago. I've jumped ship from my most recent professional escapade - one that kept Cincinnati Revisited in hibernation - and it feels great to be back on the gut-shaking, knobby rails of "reality" again. The blood is finally flowing. Another great image from the Shorpy. CAF-USA I...

http://acincinnatihistory.blogspot.com/2012/11/on-banks-googie-playground-1961.html
Wednesday, November 21, 2012. On the Banks: A Googie Playground. With the massive Banks district currently under construction, and the city's progressive step in offering a form of crowdsourcing relating to this and other development (e.g. town hall debates, nomenclature polls, everyman architectural submissions), the future is lapping the banks of Ohio vigorously. Still, one could argue how its stylistic integrity stands against those of plans past. For instance, this recent find:. On to a curious part ...
