DELHI HIGH COURT UPHELD CONSTITUTIONAL VALIDITY OF THE BUILDING AND OTHER CONSTRUCTION WORKERS’(REGULATION OF EMPLOYMENT AND CONDITIONS OF SERVICE) ACT, 1996 AND BUILDING AND OTHER CONSTRUCTION WORKERS’ WELFARE CESS ACT, 1996. The Division Bench of Delhi High Court by judgment dated 28.02.2007 reported in 139 (2007) Delhi Law Times 578 (DB) upheld the constitutional validity of the aforementioned Acts and dismissed the writ petitions filed by Builders Association of India.
