The connection between the solar cycle and Earthquakes has been looked into by scientists for a correlation between the two. The correlation is not very apparent when only looking utilizing linear techniques, however future plans to look for a correlation utlizing techniques such as Spectral Density, Fourier Analysis, and Diffusion Entropy are planned.
