Saturday, April 22, 2006. The capital city. Where to begin? It was totally like an American shopping mall. It had a grocery story with cheese, peanut butter, chocolate, snickers bars, real ketchup and a deli! And it wasn’t very busy for what a Saturday afternoon in a mall should be! Saturday, September 24, 2005. Medical Clearance, Wisdom Teeth, and a trip to the Emergency Room. This Monday, September 19th to be exact, I recieved a letter from the Peace Corps giving me medical clearance! Mark, my roommate, wasn't home. My phone was upstairs. All i could think was that I needed help and I needed it now. I faught passing out but I could feel my body shutting down. "Get upstairs! Get to the phone! I gave my address. "What is the problem? Tuesday, November 22, 2005. Uganda and a Boston Qualifier. First off the BIG news, I did at last receive a letter from the Peace Corps stating where I’ll be spending the next two years. Leaving the first week of March. (for more info check out BBC News. And this CIA World Factbook. I’ll be working with AIDS awareness and Health/Sanitation. Where in the WORLD is Uganda you might be wondering (and secondly, is it safe there? Uganda is in East Central Africa bordering Kenya, Rwanda, DR Congo, and Sudan.
