Tales from the pool, and music. Tuesday, June 06, 2006. While extremely refreshing, my first prework swim certainly lacked some of the amusement that comes with the evening crowd. I must say that the morning crowd at the pool is definitely more of a fitness and well-being crowd than a social crowd. I was shocked to open the door to the sauna and find only two men conspiring in some foreign tongue. Everyone was in the pool, and actually swimming! YOU DIDN"T MAKE ME HAPPY RED BULL GIRLS! After an enormous donair lunch (well, i had that), we headed over to s's temporary home, which has a lovely backyard and barbeque, complete with goldfish pond. while y, b, and i lounged around in the sun and traded race stories, s, r., and m made us dinner. the best kind!
