Romance & Recovery. My boyfriend is a wonderful and intelligent man. But, my God, he sure messed up when he finalized our relationship during Valentine’s Day week. Two years ago, on February 9. Mike finally asked me to be his girlfriend after years of Will they or won’t they? I like to think he felt inspired by all the heart shaped paraphernalia everywhere, but I know better and he felt awkward about our impending V-Day date. Romance is especially hard when your loved one is hopped up on painkillers.
