Redeveloping the Somerset Rural Life Museum. As part of the redevelopment we will:. Create a dedicated Community Learning Space for use by museum visitors and as a bookable venue outside museum opening hours. Install insulation and upgrade heating to improve the care of the museum collections and make the galleries more comfortable for visitors. The essential drainage works have begun providing improved drainage across the site and connecting the new toilet facilities to the local network.
