The mission of the Sons of AMVETS is to aid and support our nation’s veterans and service personnel. Membership in the Sons of AMVETS is open to anyone who is at least 18 years of age and is the son, grandson, adopted son, stepson, father, husband, widower or brother of a member of AMVETS or deceased service personnel who died but would have been eligible for membership in AMVETS. This does not include in-laws of any type. The Sons of AMVETS, Department of Massachusetts was chartered on October 15.
