An Atlantan Eats: San Francisco Favorites
http://anatlantaneats.blogspot.com/2013/07/san-francisco-favorites.html
Tuesday, July 9, 2013. Great Places to Stay. To me this is the iconic SF hotel. It sits high atop Nob Hill and is just the epitome of old fashioned SF glamour. While this is located in Marin county and not in the city itself they do offer free shuttles into Town multiple times per day making it a great getaway from the hustle and bustle. I highly recommend the spa and splurging for a suite! The location on the Embarcadero is a great launching point for exploring the city and the rooftop view is amazing!

The Mended Nest: March 2014

Even though San Francisco is relatively small (7 x 7), I still find myself in the same areas, even on the weekends. Even though I love the Castro, the Mission, Hayes Valley, Duboce Triangle, and the Lower Haight, there's so much more of the city I want to familiarize myself with. SO. This afternoon, Katherine and I drove over to Northbeach to enjoy a lazy, rainy day of shopping, eating (and girl did we eat), and exploring. We checked out Mashka. Can I just say that it was the best cioppino I've ever had?

While some labels are obvious with the addition of words like “flavored” or “imitation,” not all fake foods are such transparent frauds. Sometimes purveyors and manufacturers are actively trying to trick you into spending more for a premium item that’s not even the real thing. Somehow this is completely legal. Bits-M-Pieces: June 2011

A chronicle of culinary happenings and food indulgences. Tuesday, June 28, 2011. One of my bosses from Delaware came to visit my team and I today. So the team went to Nijo Castle for dinner together. My boss who had been to Nijo Castle several time ordered omakase for each of us. It was a colorful and delcious meal. After that, we were served with one of my favorite Japanese dishes- Hirame Sashimi! It takes skills to cut the fish so thin and transparent. We were then served with oysters and sashimi!
