The Mohair Diaries: March 2011
http://mohairdiaries.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html
The Blog That Saw Football Die. Wednesday, March 30, 2011. Now I'm All Confused. Hmmmm Perhaps those "England regulars" who sloped off back to their teams (well, largely Chelsea) after the "job done" against the pitiful Welsh on Saturday won't be feeling quite so smug this morning. England Lite put on a performance that was thoroughly professional and entertaining to boot. And against far better opposition than Wales. Perhaps Don Fabio may now feel he can ditch the old boys? Matt's Diner: May 2006
http://mattsdiner.blogspot.com/2006_05_01_archive.html
Because You Know You Want To. Thursday, May 18, 2006. Steve's Fish 'n' Chips, Shepton Mallet. As you can see, the F&C comes in traditional newsprint (albeit unused, thanks to the usual EC idiocy) and features those proper, bloated, really-cut-from-a-potato chips. By the time you get them home they're no better than lukewarm, of course. Yummy (especially with a good shot of Mayo). Try that with a little cardboard thing of McFries! Gorgeous crisp batter, beautifully moist just-cooked cod. Perfect. 1 You're...

The Mohair Diaries: May 2011

The Blog That Saw Football Die. Monday, May 16, 2011. Up and running again. Good. More later :). Friday, May 06, 2011. See, It Was Well Worth The Effort. Just like New York, apparently. I've not seen a single non-blue Taxi since they were outlawed here on Sunday - I seem to recall the idea was to make Bristol more like New York (why? And anyway, don't they have yellow taxis? In Bristol, you're never more than bottle-hurling distance from a Tesco. Thursday, May 05, 2011. Don't Forget To Vote!

The Mohair Diaries: September 2011
http://mohairdiaries.blogspot.com/2011_09_01_archive.html
The Blog That Saw Football Die. Thursday, September 22, 2011. I have exerted my influence (sadly this is in no way as significant as my girth) and burgers will be a-grillin' from around 16.00 at Saturday's Queen's Head bash. Get there early before I eat them all. Please note that this is a "Macdonald's Advert" style impression of a Semple Burger and is not to be confused with anything that may actually be served on Saturday. Friday, September 09, 2011. One For The Hat. Organised by this man.

Because You Know You Want To. Thursday, March 30, 2006. Chilli With Basil And Sun-Dried Tomato Dumplings. The title pretty much explains this simple and flexible recipe! Make up a pot of your favourite chilli and, once it's done, throw in some suitably flavoured dumplings and cook 'em through. Serve up the dumplings with the chilli (surprise, surprise) and some form of side salad and away you go. Tuesday, March 21, 2006. Yep, another food blog. This one will be devoted to my own personal food obsessi...

Matt's Diner: Winsborough's Fish 'n' Chips, Shepton Mallet
http://mattsdiner.blogspot.com/2006/08/winsboroughs-fish-n-chips-shepton.html
Because You Know You Want To. Tuesday, August 15, 2006. Winsborough's Fish 'n' Chips, Shepton Mallet. Winsborough's is Shepton's "other" chippie - it has something of the architectural style of an American roadside diner and you'll find it at the Charlton crossroads. There's ample parking available, but be aware that the opening hours are a trifle strange. So what's the food like? This place serves up some awfull grub the picture makes it look better than mine. Matt's Diner: Your Mission, Should You Choose To Accept It
http://mattsdiner.blogspot.com/2006/05/your-mission-should-you-choose-to.html
Because You Know You Want To. Tuesday, May 09, 2006. Your Mission, Should You Choose To Accept It. OK, so here's the score. You have to prepare a "gourmet" meal for four bearing the following in mind:. 1 You're in a bunker following a nuclear strike. Consider this to be a home-made bunker, not a second-hand ICBM base, so you're going to be limited in terms of the types of food you will have available, the sort of cooking facilities you may have and the amount of water you can afford to use;. Not necessar...
