Get with the Toms! You know the faint aroma of skunk-spray that sometimes seeps into your car as you drive down the freeway? It’s the kind of smell that puts hair on the chest, so to speak. It’s a complex musk that turns most people off. And I actually enjoy it. I guess you could say that I can perceive the beauty in things that are often misunderstood. Or I just like gross stuff. Tuesday, August 28, 2012. Memorial Day Colorado Trip. Better late than never, eh? We took a trip to Colorado over Memorial Day for a family reunion. We had fun at Heritage Square, the Denver Zoo, and the Bolder Boulder 10K, along with lots of family lunches and dinners. She got lots of fun things, including a Tinkerbell costume, a stuffed dog that she immediately named "Doggo", a Princess Amelia shirt, and a Merida barbie with her horse. Tuesday, April 3, 2012. A True Spring Break. She is not allowed to walk on it, at least for the next week, which means a lot more work getting her around. She has been in pretty high spirits, though, and the cast is much more comfortable for her. She will have another x-ray on Monday to see how everything is going. Get with the Toms! Can't stop making stuff. It's what I do for fun. Instead of consume media, I find myself preferring to create something of my own. My latest project is called Mages. It's a really fun card game that I have been helping my friend Dallin Gunther to develop. It takes our favorite elements from other tabletop games and kind of combines them. We just started last Wednesday on Kickstarter and we're already at 24% of our $9500 goal. Now of Normal Games Co.

Sunday, July 20, 2014. New Mexico Road Trip. We were able to take a road trip this spring to visit Clark and Kjerstin in New Mexico. We split the drive up over a couple of days to keep us sane, and we were able to see lots of fun things on the way up and down. We also brought our car DVD player and lots of snacks! White Sands National Park is really close to Las Cruces, so we spent an afternoon there sledding down the sand dunes and playing around. The weather was really nice, so we didn't get too hot.

Friday, March 29, 2013. Baby D arrived almost one week ago on the 23rd. She was here in under three hours, weighing 9 lbs. 14 oz. We had no idea she would be that big, but everything went well. Saturday, May 19, 2012. The Playhouse that Mann Built. The kids love it! We put their picnic table underneath and they love to hang out under there in the shade and have lunch. Chris has plans to add more towers, swings, and other fun playthings to this in the next few years.
