South American Adventure 2010. Thursday, April 22, 2010. Bem vindos a El Palmar! Este parque foi criado em 1966 com o objetivo de conservar uma das ultimas zonas com palmeiras “yatay”. Chegamos aqui na quarta-feira à noite. Fomos muito bem recebidos pelos guias e trabalhadores locais, e logo após sermos apresentados a esse maravilhoso lugar, tivemos um delicioso jantar! Nossos quartos são dentro de antigos vagões de trem.é muito diferente e charmoso! A viagem chegou ao final, e todos estão bem tristes!

Chegamos agora em Belo Horizonte, após uma looonga viagem desde Buenos Aires e com TRÊS paradas para descanso (em Posadas, Foz do Iguaçu e Araçatuba) no caminho. A maioria dos estudantes já ficou pelo caminho, e agora só restam os estudantes que vão desembarcar amanhã do aeroporto de Belo Horizonte para suas cidades! After 30 days traveling through the south of Brazil, Argentina, Chile and Peru, students are returning home! This trip was a big adventure and challenge for sure and we would like to thank all students, parents, host parents, Officers and Chairmen for all the support, as well as our Coordination, Chaperones, bus drivers, guides and suppliers for all the hard work!

I start medical school in August, and this is the first, and probably last, summer I have had free for a while. So, I decided to pack a backpack and run away to South America for two months.
