CG TTL: December 2009
http://cgttl.blogspot.com/2009_12_01_archive.html
The Creative Journey from Intermediate to Advanced Photograpy. Wednesday, December 30, 2009. I shot this image of Seattle photographer Jan Klier. In Savannah last year. It was shot at an effective focal length of 80mm in available light at ISO 100, f/1.4, and exposed for 1/50 sec. Post was done in ACR and CS4. Having him look past that vertical post seemed like a slick idea at the time. Now it just seems distractive. Links to this post. Life As We Know It. Links to this post. Links to this post. CG TTL: September 2010
http://cgttl.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html
The Creative Journey from Intermediate to Advanced Photograpy. Monday, September 6, 2010. This view of Boston Harbor was shot hand-held, from the second deck of a moving tour boat in mid-afternoon light. The resolution of the full-sized sensor on the Canon 5D Mark II allowed me to do this panoramic crop, without losing too much detail. I shot this with a 24mm lens focal length at ISO 400, f/16, and exposed for -0.67 Ev at 1/640 second. Links to this post. Links to this post. Links to this post.

The Creative Journey from Intermediate to Advanced Photograpy. Thursday, November 4, 2010. I got a shot of this adorable little girl, as I was leaving a traditional Persian wedding in Southern California in October, 2010. I'm no wedding photographer, but I took my camera and put together a short video montage of still images of the festivities, as a surprise for the bride and groom. You can see it on YouTube at:. The Creative Journey from Intermediate to Advanced Photograpy. Saturday, May 15, 2010. These buds among the colorful flowers remind me of the many budding possibilities in life and the fact that the universe seems to keep evolving pretty much as it should, without a lot of effort on my part. This was shot handheld in available light at a distance of 1 meter with a lens focal length of 105 mm, at ISO 800, f/8, exposed for -0.67 Ev for 1/30 sec. Post processing was in CS5. CG TTL: February 2009
http://cgttl.blogspot.com/2009_02_01_archive.html
The Creative Journey from Intermediate to Advanced Photograpy. Friday, February 27, 2009. I shot this portrait of Miles. At the Houston Zoo last Saturday morning. He was 6'3" tall and less than a month old at the time. I shot this with a 70-200 mm telephoto. Lens with a 2X teleconverter. I learned that two things are required for good wildlife photography: long telephoto lenses and infinite patience! And, the former may be easier to come by, than the latter! Links to this post.
