One Georgian's experiences in the land of the Scot. Playing hooky for a day. Not a bad spot for lunch. B roads are certainly the slower and more scenic route options here. Lunch was a pit stop picnic leaning against a fencepost in a “passing place” on a single lane country road just after crossing a stone bridge that was constructed in 1783. The Gilbert Scott building on the University of Glasgow looking very Hogwarts-like in a blanket of snow. Who you lookin’ at? Hiked through rain, sleet, snow, and gale force winds to find this Fairy Pool on the Isle of Skye. Wonderful display of emotion at the Kelvingrove Museum in Glasgow. One Georgian's experiences in the land of the Scot. Lost in the black hole of the Internet. Then that opens a new page and lo and behold there are 13 other stories to chose from. One was about a grizzly bear in Colorado killing a mule deer in someone’s backyard and was complete with a video. Clicked that until the sound came on and I didn’t want to hear the deer screaming so I closed that. ( Here’s the story minus the screaming deer. Then there was another video about a man rescuing baby hammerhead sharks.
