Monday, 22 July 2013. British middle distance Nationals. Cowman Triathlon (British middle distance Nationals). Big-cow was the company that held the event. They done an awesome job of making sure everything was covered. The swim was held in a lake where we completed two laps before going out on the bike. The ride had plenty of hills to keep it challenging the whole way. The run was four laps mixed of trails on and off road with a couple decent hills in it to keep you honest. Overall. I came out in 4.

Nothing much has been happening, two weeks back I raced a half marathon to see how my running is going. I managed to come away with a big win and a new PB 1:16 on a hilly course with top athletes on the start line. At the moment I am building up for Ironman New Zealand in March next year. So no more races for me this season in Europe until I arrive home in New Zealand in January for my build up.

Thursday, 31 May 2012. Challenge Kraichgau 10th June. Next stop Germany 10. Two days ago I booked flights to Frankfurt, Germany for my next race. It’s a Challenge half iron distance race organised by the same company that run Challenge Wanaka in January in New Zealand so. I am looking forwards to getting along there to race.
