Lincoln College of Technology: Tri-County. Monday, May 24, 2010. The Legend of Zelda Fitzgerald. It seems that people think about Zelda Fitzgerald a lot less often than they did in the 1970s, when I first read Nancy Milford’s biography,. PS3511 .I9234 Z8 1983). Perhaps more than 60 years after her death, it’s just too hard to imagine anyone like Zelda anymore. Perhaps her story seems just too sad, today, to tell that much. While in the institution, Zelda wrote an autobiographical novel,. Save Me the Waltz.

Lincoln College of Technology: Toledo. Thursday, September 16, 2010. 8216;A Thousand Acres’ By Jane Smiley. In A Thousand Acres. Smiley rewrites Shakespeare’s King Lear. Even though I have finished this book, I can’t really decide how I feel about it. One reason I feel ambiguous towards A Thousand Acres. And any rewrites) wouldn’t be a tragedy if it were uplifting. Lincoln College of Technology: Florence. Monday, July 18, 2011. Computing like it's 1996. When I ran across. NC1426 .E2 1996), which the front cover describes as “the fun and foibles, the delights and dangers, the quirks and quarks, of life in Computerland,” what I wanted to see was whether computer-related humor had changed significantly since 1996. I’m assuming these computer jokes were funny back in 1996. Would they still be funny now? The New York Times. Look like every day! All in all,.

Lincoln College of Technology: Franklin: 'Monster in the Box' by Ruth Rendell

Lincoln College of Technology: Franklin. Thursday, February 17, 2011. Monster in the Box' by Ruth Rendell. Ruth Rendell has been writing detective novels featuring Inspector Wexford for many years now. I’d be lying if I said I had read them all, but I have read several, and they are typically enjoyable books. Wexford is the Chief Inspector in Kingsmarkham and has a memorable retinue to accompany him on his many cases. Monster in the Box. On the whole, this book was interesting, but I thought it was sligh...

Lincoln College of Technology: Tri-County. Thursday, June 16, 2011. The Dirty Life' by Kristin Kimball. The more I think about it, the more I like the idea of self-sustaining, organic farming. I like the idea of safe, natural, healthy foods. I like the idea of thinking locally. I like the idea of food being a product of family. And, strange as it may sound, I really like the idea of hard physical labor. These are all things that are covered by Kimball’s. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Lincoln College of Technology: Tri-County. Wednesday, July 28, 2010. A Sight for Sore Eyes' by Ruth Rendell. Similar to other Rendell stories, I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a good suspense novel. Ruth Rendell does what most other writers are not able to; she tells you who the primary antagonist is and what his motivations are without making her story humdrum. Monday, July 12, 2010.
