Saturday, August 6, 2011. Barcelona, Gaudí town. We had reservations at the Hostal Campi. Where we had stayed the first night after arriving from the US. If you are looking for an inexpensive place to stay in Barcelona, I would recommend it. Saturday Jim, Lauri and me walk the city finally enjoying a picnic dinner on the waterfront at sunset. Tuesday, July 26, 2011. Tuesday, July 26, Third day of Biking, Plan A, B or C. The weather has been a bit iffy the last couple of days. Maybe rain or maybe not, so we've developed a plan A, B or C. Plan A is a long ride to the Mediterranean Sea (about 100 Km round trip) or Plan B is more local ride in the near by hills of about 60-80 Km and Plan C is a car trip to the Salvador Dali Museum ( link. Barcellona – Valencia – Saragozza. Agosto 30, 2008. Siamo appena atterrati a Venezia. Tutto bene. Ieri sera cena muy buena in un ristorantino che conosco già da qualche anno, La Palmera (C. Jerusalen 30), dietro il mercato della Boqueria. Consigliatissimo, ottima la paella. Abbiamo poi passato l’ultima notte in giro per Barcellona… notte caldissima. :). E ora stiamo tornando a casa, più stanchi di quando eravamo partiti, ma anche più pieni! Un po’ di numeri…. 154 euro di carburante. 28 euro di autostrade.
