All donations to SPARC are used to provide adaptive sports opportunities to individuals with various disabilities in Chattanooga and the surrounding region. SPARC has no paid employees, so 100% of all donations are used for equipment and expenses related to sponsored sports events. If you live in the Chattanooga area and cannot afford to pay the dues, you can elect to volunteer 10 hours a year at SPARC events. Please select an option from below:. SPARC was formed in 1991 by a group of individuals who believed that persons, regardless of ability, should have the opportunity to participate in competitive and recreational activities in an integrated setting, i.e., persons with and without disabilities participating together.
