As it is, Im left with the legacy of their work to peruse and marvel at. Long-time readers of this blog will remember Ceilidhs heartfelt tribute. Links to this post.

The Book Lantern: Who We Are

I'm Ceilidh/Kayleigh, I'm 22 and recently graduated from the University of Edinburgh in Celtic/English literature, meaning I'm out in the real world trying to sort myself out. I'm a native Scot, obnoxious accent and all. My name is Cory and I'm American. I've pretty much been to every state in the US. With all that traveling I've had a lot of time to read. And I'm a senior in High School. And I'm writing a contemporary YA novel right now involving a band geek, unrequited love, and an overbearing mother.

Sunday, September 28, 2014. Review: Cress by Marissa Meyer. Few books can keep me up until late at night, and these ones definitely did. Like Cinder and Scarlet, Cress is a sci-fi retelling of a classical fairy tale. Like Cinder and Scarlet, it subverts some of the originals themes, though to a lesser extent. I wont get into too much details about the plot - because, seriously, spoilers! Links to this post. Categories: 2014 prequels and sequels challenge. Saturday, September 27, 2014. I cant handle it!
