How it all began. This is Emily at age 4. Two days later, Emily’s seizures were getting worse again so Emily went to see her neurologist. Within an hour she was admitted into Gillette Children’s hospital. After six days had passed by everyone thought Emily’s seizures were under control, so she was sent home. Meet Wyatt’s Seizures. Wyatt averages about 200 seizures every day. These seizures are grouped into clusters throughout the day. Sometimes he cries, seems disoriented or even laughs. They always disrupt his life and his development. I hate them and I am pretty sure he does, too. I usually refer to them as “fucking seizures.”.
