Aussie in a Swiss kitchen. Wednesday, 2 January 2013. Waffles - a Paleo, wheat and grain free Thermomix recipe, inspired by Maria Emmerich. This is the first day of the New Year and I wanted waffles for breakfast. Naturally they needed to be wheat and grain free. I'd seen a recipe in the latest Maria Emmerich's book The Art of Healthy Eating - Savory. File I don't know how often I'll have 7 egg whites floating around, so I may need to source egg protein powder, when I next make these. Mentions in her pos...

Aussie in a Swiss kitchen: June 2011

Aussie in a Swiss kitchen. Friday, 10 June 2011. I have just downloaded this software to help me with filing my recipes: Aunt Annie's recipe filer. It looks great, and Aunt Annie has tons of recipes already on there (including Thermomixer recipes). Now, I should check if there is a download for Android phones. This would definitely make my trips to the store a bit simpler. Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile. There was an error in this gadget. Sites I like to visit.

http://dvfood.blogspot.com/2011_10_01_archive.html
Aussie in a Swiss kitchen. Tuesday, 25 October 2011. News for Thermomix Switzerland and my latest Fall demo's. A few of the ladies couldn't make it on Saturday, so we met at the crack of dawn on Sunday in Zürich. We were extremely minimalistic - we only made poached eggs with hollandaise, followed by a green smoothie. Less than an hour and we were done, and ready for a morning swim. Ladies, you're all going to love your new kitchen toy! We'll get together and do Asian dumplings soon. 41(0)78 853 89 56.

Aussie in a Swiss kitchen. Monday, 12 September 2011. Intense whole lemon slice. We had lemon slice for dessert tonight. It was very "lemony" and intense, and rather difficult to stop at just one piece. The recipe is from David Lebovitz's, original link here. Here it is adapted it for the Thermomix:. 2 cups (280g) flour. 1/2 cup (100g) sugar. 1/2 vanilla bean (scrape out the seeds). 2 - 3 lemons, organic or unsprayed (I used 3 small lemons). 1 1/2 cup (300g) raw sugar. 150 ml freshly squeezed lemon juice.

Aussie in a Swiss kitchen: The new Thermomix TM5 is here!
http://dvfood.blogspot.com/2014/09/the-new-thermomix-tm5-is-here.html
Aussie in a Swiss kitchen. Friday, 12 September 2014. The new Thermomix TM5 is here! I'm so excited about the new Thermomix model TM5. It does everything the TM31 does and more. I wasn't so thrilled about the "guided cooking" option when I heard about it, but now after using it several times, I love it. It's ideal for inexperienced and budding young cooks or if you feel lazy e.g., if you arrive home late from work and your grey matter needs some down time. Email: cheryl.devalliere@gmail.com.
