Over the last few days I’ve painted the anchor and finished off the details on the rails and as a result I’ve finished painting Gutrot’s boat. I wanted the rope to look like it was overgrown with weed and algae so in addition to the ever present baking soda I used a little cotton wool. On top of that once I’d found my feet and settled into painting Gutrot Spume it was time to put him aside to concentrate on Mole. Tau Riptide - centerpiece for my Tau army AND a model that just won FIRST PLACE at the Games Workshop Warsaw The Fang painting competition in best WH40K vehicle category. Saturday, 6 July 2013. Forgeworld Abaddon - Horus Heresy. I have had the Forgeworld Horus Heresy Abaddon vs Loken. Diorama kit for a few months now (think I ordered it for release, whenever that was) and have finally gotten around to working on it recently. Like most of my projects, I am painting him in sub-assemblies - the head, arms, sword, body and base. I have started on the body, making reasonable progress so far over a few hours or so of work. Let me know in the comments if you have an opinion.
