comeuppence for tuppence: smug tram bug.
http://comeuppencefortuppence.blogspot.com/2009/09/smug-tram-bug.html
Rants and raves from my notebook. Monday, September 28, 2009. I leave for Vietnam in about a week. To be honest, I've been a bit blase about the whole thing. I knew it was coming up but hadn't put too much thought into it. Yesterday, I started packing and writing some lists and I got a little excited. The whole tram trip I had a smug grin on my face, knowing that I am only 7 days away from t-shirt weather. October 2, 2009 at 8:46 PM. Look at you, newspaper star! October 4, 2009 at 12:28 PM. I like to read.

Dancer In The Dark: September 2009
http://dancer-inthe-dark.blogspot.com/2009_09_01_archive.html
Dancer In The Dark. Outpourings of profound inanity from the comfort of my own home. Friday, September 25, 2009. I just rode home from Swan St in Richmond, what I would deem a medium length ride, on one of the rainiest nights we've had in ages. You would think I hated it, but I didn't. Admittedly I'd had quite a few lemon margaritas, and this may have contributed to my zen-like state. I'm not sure what it was that I enjoyed most about the ride. Some possibilities include:. All these thoughts and more occ...

Dancer In The Dark: I am not a 'good girl'
http://dancer-inthe-dark.blogspot.com/2010/07/i-am-not-good-girl.html
Dancer In The Dark. Outpourings of profound inanity from the comfort of my own home. Wednesday, July 21, 2010. I am not a 'good girl'. Is there a particular phrase drives you barmy with rage? I have one. I heard it just now. I was in the chemist and a gruff older dude stomped in in his work boots and asked for a script he'd dropped in earlier. The neat, pony-tailed assistant said "I'll just get it for you" and he responded "Good girl". Honestly, have you ever thought of saying this to a grown woman?

Love Me You're Famous: Karate Kid II: Journey To Okinawa
http://lovemeyourefamous.blogspot.com/2008/08/karate-kid-ii-journey-to-okinawa.html
Wednesday, August 6, 2008. Karate Kid II: Journey To Okinawa. The much awaited submission from Mel. All is now right with the world. Just a kid, weren’t you? You seemed so much older back then as I gazed up at the big screen, squirming on the cracked vinyl seats at Forest Hill (yet to bloom into a strangely lame Chase) cinema. I thought your main problem was your inability to recognise your own latent talents. It was your. I’ve gotta say, I liked you best in Karate Kid II. I would have leapt across that ...

Dancer In The Dark: November 2009
http://dancer-inthe-dark.blogspot.com/2009_11_01_archive.html
Dancer In The Dark. Outpourings of profound inanity from the comfort of my own home. Wednesday, November 18, 2009. Get It Out, Prudes! Or The Sexualisation of Nudity. I always feel hyper-conscious of this kind of reaction. But today it actually bothered me. Not because these people seemed to be judging me. Indeed I doubt if they gave me two seconds thought. But I wanted to turn around and shout "C'mon! They're just legs. I'm using them for walking! This prudishness makes me resentful for a number of reas...
