Advanced Technical Communication Blog. Skip to primary content. October 2, 2006. I created this lightning effect based on the tutorial I read earlier - I modified it to create this. Il semestre di bello. Photos of our trip to England. March 18, 2016. Maya and I spent a week in England. Most of that week we spent in and around Wiltshire, in the southwest of the country. We rented a nice little place in Chippenham on AirBnB. The beautiful and placid River Avon passes through this town and most of the places we went. This slideshow requires JavaScript. Il semestre di bello. I like talking about the things I’m doing. I hate talking about me. I live in New Hampshire where winter rules seven months out of the year. I’m FROM Missouri and Illinois and this much winter can do strange things to a person who’s not born to it. It’s a good thing for everyone that, this year, I get to skip the last four months of winter. I’m a writer in the sense that I often write. In the sense that people read much of what I write? And, since life mixes the sweet in the bitter,...

Summer Reading Challenge UPDATE. July 22, 2015. July 22, 2015. Last month I had a great visit to mid-coast Maine with a fellow writer, where I worked on getting a draft of a new poetry book shaped up. I also brought along with me six books of poetry by others from my summer reading challenge list. Mostly I read them with coffee coffee first thing in the morning either on the red sofa or out on the pier that came with the house we rented. Rough life, yeah, I know. Teresa Leo, Bloom in Reverse.
