http://nickandraeann.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html
The Barrett Family Blog. Friday, April 30, 2010. Day 1 - 4/19/10. After an extremely long weekend, we had to be on our flight out of Des Monies. At 5:40am. If you know me, you know I am NOT a morning person. Getting up at 4am is not at all something I am interested in doing but. for Jamaica, I will. We had a short layover in Atlanta and arrived in Montego. Bay around 12:30. Our resort was in Ocho. Rios which is a 90 minute bus ride from Montego. For everything that I have, that is for sure. The bus made ...

The Barrett Family Blog. Monday, May 31, 2010. Things we did this week:. Last Saturday the girls and I spent the afternoon at my Aunt Joy's house. The main reason was to help in planning our annual Owens (my mom's side) summer party but we also got to enjoy some family cousin time. My aunt Jennifer was there along with my cousin Justin, his fiance Tracy and Justin's daughter Daffney. Daffney is such a sweet little girl! Miss Daffney playing in a laundry basket. Alison, Daffney, Ashley. Friday night was G...

The Barrett Family Blog: September 2010
http://nickandraeann.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html
The Barrett Family Blog. Friday, September 17, 2010. Ever since the girls went on vacation to the Wisconsin Dells this summer and got to sleep in bunk bed's, they have been wanting bunk beds of their own. The girls don't have to share a room but they've always wanted to, which I think is cool that they like each other that much. (I keep wondering how much longer that's going to last though since Alison is 12 now). Unfortunately, I didn't think to take any "before" pictures which I'm really bummed about b...

The Barrett Family Blog: Who are you again?
http://nickandraeann.blogspot.com/2011/02/who-are-you-again.html
The Barrett Family Blog. Sunday, February 6, 2011. Who are you again? Yes, yes, yes. I know it's been over 4 months since I've posted a blog. Let's just say I was busy and lazy all at the same time. My New Year's Resolution was to get back into the blog 1) Because it forces me to take pictures, something else that was very lacking over the last 4 months; 2) So I can catch people up on our lives without having to talk on the phone, something I detest; and 3) Because I'm not a quitter! Yeah, sure, Im in.

http://nickandraeann.blogspot.com/2011/02/gingerbread-houses.html
The Barrett Family Blog. Saturday, February 26, 2011. It's been a tradition in our house to make Gingerbread Houses every Christmas season. The first year we. Didn't know any better. Went all out and made the houses from scratch. We made our own frosting and gingerbread! It was a two day project. The second year we realized that they make Gingerbread House Kits! This year we stepped it up again and found Gingerbread Houses that were already put together AND included the candy! Our gingerbread making has ...

The Barrett Family Blog: Bunk Bed Follow-Up
http://nickandraeann.blogspot.com/2011/02/bunk-bed-follow-up.html
The Barrett Family Blog. Sunday, February 6, 2011. I need to preface this entire blog by saying that Alison is probably going to hate me for posting this. I do feel a little bad because it contains something personal that she wrote but this is one of those things that has to be logged into memory and documented because one day she will find it very cute and funny. So here we go . . . my last blog post was our surprise to the girls with their new bunk beds. (You can read about it here. So, last weekend th...

The Barrett Family Blog: June 2010
http://nickandraeann.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html
The Barrett Family Blog. Thursday, June 24, 2010. As I posted yesterday, I got the opportunity to attend the taping of the Today Show this morning as they surprised a local charity. I had to arrive at 5:30am on location which thankfully was only a 15 minute drive. Getting up at 4:15 was rough! Our home satellite was out due to the weather so I haven't seen it yet but I heard from a couple people that I made at least one of the segments. Al was 2 feet in front of me. My sister said he was so in fr...This ...
