YABATS - Yet Another Blog About The Sims: Strange shadows in the bedroom
http://yabatsims.blogspot.com/2015/02/strange-shadows-in-bedroom.html
I'm a simmer and I like to share. My Sims 3 profile. February 14, 2015. Strange shadows in the bedroom. I tried watching for a fun screenshot opportunity that would be appropriate for the holiday today, but didn't see very much that I would consider bonk-worthy. The best that I got in the last couple months of simming is this curiosity (which I would classify as a lighting bug) showing some unusually shaped shadows near the romance light. YABATS - Yet Another Blog About The Sims: moodlets
http://yabatsims.blogspot.com/p/moodlets.html
I'm a simmer and I like to share. My Sims 3 profile. There are a lot of moodlets that will appear and disappear based on a number of factors. Here is a little more information about specific moodlets. The font color on the moodlet name indicates whether it is negative (red), neutral (black) or positive (green); the moodlet icons also have a similar color code in the background of the moodlet icons for negative (red), neutral (blue) and positive (green). Some simmers play characters that have "a girl in e...

YABATS - Yet Another Blog About The Sims: Glued salmon
http://yabatsims.blogspot.com/2015/02/glued-salmon.html
I'm a simmer and I like to share. My Sims 3 profile. February 13, 2015. It seems that sims will often carry things completely wrong. Here, one of the sims I created, Piper Wilkins. Has a plate of grilled salmon she's just prepared. She's supposed to have it in her left hand, but it got stuck to her right hand instead. Good thing she used the extra-sticky oil to grill her meal today. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). S3 Into the Future. Aleisters Elixirs and Sundries. Baby Braniac Peg Toybox.

YABATS - Yet Another Blog About The Sims: Light a fire under it
http://yabatsims.blogspot.com/2015/02/light-fire-under-it.html
I'm a simmer and I like to share. My Sims 3 profile. February 12, 2015. Light a fire under it. When The Sims 4 was released, like many other simmers, I spent a lot of time playing different families and learning the ins and outs of the new version. As a bit of a foodie IRL, I made a foodie sim and leveled her up through the basic and advanced cooking skills. One of her dishes turned out to be hot enough that the stove burner followed it around the kitchen. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Unless other...

http://yabatsims.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html
I'm a simmer and I like to share. My Sims 3 profile. October 3, 2014. A month later, how is The Sims 4? So now that it's October, and most of us have had about a month to play The Sims 4, how does it hold up? My top picks on features that I miss from earlier games, are these:. Okay, so what do I like? Build mode roof tool - Finally! Now I can really put the roof pieces the way I want them without all the hassle that were roofs in the previous versions. Loading screens - Every time I send a sim to a diffe...

Finding the Flock - A Genealogy Research Blog: Saved by sounds-like spelling
http://findingtheflock.blogspot.com/2012/04/saved-by-sounds-like-spelling.html
Finding the Flock - A Genealogy Research Blog. I'm an amateur genealogist. This blog will show off how my genealogical research is progressing. Saved by sounds-like spelling. So as with other branches of the family, I’m going back through record sets on FamilySearch. Yeah, that says Chainbeck. But since all of the names, ages and birth places line up with data I already had (except that I had Magdalena instead of Martha), there’s a pretty strong argument to believe that this is the correct fami...John J&...
