Dinsdag, augustus 09, 2011. Tja, aan alles komt een end, dus uiteindelijk ook aan ons verblijf in het oosten. Na bijna 10 jaar zitten we weer achter het raam te staren naar de woeste wolkendek die telkens opnieuw regen brengt. Breskens dus. Werk zoeken staat bovenaan, Tim zal in Oostburg naar school moeten, maar die heeft al werk, afwassen bij 't halve maantje. Gesprekken staa al gepland, een nieuwe wending, ook wel spannend. Vrijdag, april 22, 2011. Tim's voetbal seizoen is op z'n top. De komende drie weekend's drie toernooien. Vanmiddag gaan we met z'n tweeën naar Bangkok, zaterdag en zondag veel voetbal, Bayon Wanderers spelen met twee teams, een voor de veteranen (mezelf) een voor de wat jongere. Vrijdag, april 15, 2011. Terwijl Karien in Nederland (eigenlijk in Duitsland) solliciteert is het hier alweer nieuwjaar (of pas). Tim wil wel leren duiken, dus moet ik mee, want zo in je eentje is er nix aan. Van tevoren theorie en een paar praktijklessen in een zwembad. En dan afgelopen dinsdag met de boot naar Koh Tang, een eilandje 5 uur varen buitengaats, voor de kust van Sihanoukville. Lekker ruige golven, iedereen zeeziek, je moet er wat voor over hebben.
