I can't remember the last time I was able to get a good picture of them just sitting, looking and smiling. It just doesn't happen. However, I should have caught on a little when, at one point while I was snapping pictures and he was practicing his smile, he casually threw in "I take school picture now, Mama". And that he did in fact still need to take his school picture at.
