Stephanie's: Portfolio: Compositional Trick #2: Leading Lines
http://stephaniep-red.blogspot.com/2008/09/compositional-trick-2-leading-lines.html
Friday, September 5, 2008. Compositional Trick #2: Leading Lines. This is my 'Leading Lines' photo. This compositional trick will lead you through your picture and/or will take you to your emphasis. Leading lines will also take you 'into' the picture. The leading lines in my photo are the lines of the concrete bricks, along with the shadow of the wall. The purpose for the leading lines in my shot are to lead you into the picture, to my emphasis. I think this picture is really good!

Friday, October 31, 2008. Thursday, October 23, 2008. In this exercise we learned about Adjustment layers. Adjustment layers allow you to add adjustments to your image on separate layers instead of directly to the image itself. This comes in handy during long complicated projects. In Photoshop every tool is specifically designed to help improve your photo. However, here we took some artistic liberties and explored adjustments creatively. Wednesday, October 22, 2008. Jesus's Portfolio: Balance: Asymmetrical Vs. Symmetrical
http://hrahs.blogspot.com/2009/01/balance-asymmetrical-vs-symmetrical.html
Wednesday, January 14, 2009. Balance: Asymmetrical Vs. Symmetrical. Symmetrical balance is when the composition is almost perfectly balanced. Asymmetrical balance is when the photo is not necessarily symmetrical but the colors objects in the photo makes the photo look even. I think that visual balance is important because when it has a balance the viewers eye doesn't. Have a hard time trying to understand the composition but when it isn't. Balanced it sometimes gets hard for the viewer.
Jesus's Portfolio: Guardian
http://hrahs.blogspot.com/2008/11/in-dark-and-burned-down-forest-lives.html
Thursday, November 13, 2008. In a dark and burned down forest lives a man who believes that he can be part of nature. With nothing else to do with himself he decided to make himself a tree with branches as arms and using other pieces of wood to make himself taller. As the haunting fog tried to consume him he tries to escape it by elevating high enough so that the fog doesn’t reach him. What do you make wings out of? November 18, 2008 at 5:01 PM. Jesus's Portfolio: Leading Lines
http://hrahs.blogspot.com/2008/09/leading-lines.html
Friday, September 5, 2008. Leading lines are mostly used to lead the audience to the subject or emphasis. Leading lines can also create depth and perspective to an image. Another thing that leading lines are able to do are show distance throughout a picture. In my picture I used the pole as a leading line to guide the audience to my emphasis which is Luis. There is also the shadow which made a leading lines which leads to the shadow of Luis. This jesus is the best picture ever because im in it.
Angel's Portfolio: Haunted Chavez
http://reyesboi18.blogspot.com/2008/11/haunted-chavez.html
Friday, November 14, 2008. My Project was called haunted Chavez because it was the time of Halloween and we had to come up with a scary theme and do some crazy and realistic things with it but it had to be of Chavez. My idea had already came to my head the first day we were in class talking about it and I didn’t change anything I kept with my idea and I followed it thought I stuck with my plan and left it how it was. Angel's Portfolio: Cropping
http://reyesboi18.blogspot.com/2008/09/cropping.html
Friday, September 5, 2008. Cropping is a trick that photographers do all the time, even if they don't realize it. Every time a photographer chooses to cut something out of his/her frame, before they snap the photo that is in essence cropping. We also have learned tools on Photoshop that allow us to crop an image after we have taken it. When cropping in Photoshop it is possible to improve our composition or change it completely. Friday, February 27, 2009. We then followed this tutorial found at http:/ www.voidix.com/eye manipulation.html. To give us ideas and practice combining images, reversing natural laws, transforming objects and using Photoshop to create a realistic surrealistic scene. The one thing I liked about doing this one was learning the new things we can do with Photoshop. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Class room home page.

http://reyesboi18.blogspot.com/2009/04/fill-in-flash-experiment.html
Friday, April 3, 2009. Fill in Flash Experiment. Fill in flash is when your outside and you have a shadow on your self and you don't want it there so you put on the flash and it makes it look like theres no shadow. The one that has the shadows of hands on them are the before pictures and the next ones are the ones with the flash on them. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Class room home page. Jesus's Portfolio: Self Portraits
http://hrahs.blogspot.com/2008/09/self-portraits.html
Tuesday, September 23, 2008. Feels when he gets no play time so I did that by sitting on the bench by myself looking stressed out. On. The last time I just wanted to have some fun with the project so I took a photo were it looks like I am peeing on the corner of the stadium while looking around the corner to make sure that security wasn't coming. I feel that the rule of thirds picture was the most successful. Because it looks like it's just me, the ball, and the court and that no ones around and that's.
