Wednesday, October 25, 2006. Fun with Predictive Text. I know it may sound a very childish thing to do but I like to have fun with predictive text. They felt that it was my moral and professional duty to stop smoking and promote a healthy lifestyle. Tuesday, May 30, 2006. If I manage one good day out of a whole weekend it is pretty good for me. So when the last Bank Holiday weekend came along with its extra day off I was braced for a dire time. But to my amazement I had one of the best long weekends for many a year. Drink with housemate in the pub (rare occasion as he doesn’t go out too much these days). Met a few friends. Met some more friends. Finished off at the Irish (sad, but very enjoyable). Drink with few friends. Went out for a quiet drink.

Wednesday, December 20, 2006. Seven things I hate about Christmas. Food disappears off the shelves like people are stocking up for a nuclear war and alcohol is brought like the public expect prohibition to start in the New Year. 2 Pub Price Hike. Just because the pub puts up a bit of tinsel and the bar staff all don Santa hats it does not mean that they can double the entrance price and put a quid on the cost of drinks. Mince Pies, Xmas Pudding, bread sauce, cranberry sauce; the list of awful food goes on.

We shouldn’t chance crossing as the traffic is notoriously dangerous here. To which I commented:. Tuesday, April 25, 2006. I have only ever been in love three times in my life and all in just the last 5 years. Before then I had seen people but had never really experienced the true feeling of love. I hoped that when I did finally fall in love it would be a wonderful experience that would last forever.
